Why Should I Train My Dog?

Training is important, your dog needs a job to do to keep them occupied and happy. It will make them a better citizen and family member. Where You Learn To Train Is Important

Most Dog Trainers today don't have a physical location to teach classes. They meet at a park or do a "pack walk". Some offer in kennel training which is great (and costly) but that doesn't teach you to communicate with your dog. Club K-9 Training Center has been in the same indoor location for 25 years. In that time thousands of dogs have passed through our doors to form a better relationship with their owner.

What Can You Accomplish?

Owner Cris Doss has been training and showing dogs since a very young age. It is her experience and success that formed the positive reinforcement methods that we teach at Club K-9 Training Center. Pictured above in February, 2025 is Cris and her 10 month old German Shepherd Freyja along with some of the ribbons she has already received from several dog shows they attended. At the age of only 10 months, Freyja has already earned the following AKC Titles:

CGC  (Canine Good Citizen)
CD  (Companion Dog Obedience)
SCN  (Scent Work Container Novice)
SEN  (Scent Work Exterior Novice)
SIN  (Scent Work Interior Novice)
SBN  (Scent Work Buried Novice)

Cris and Freyja have formed an unbreakable bond as they earned these Titles and they are certain to earn many more. Freyja wakes up every day to a fulfilling life, eager to work and learn more.
