Attention & Focus Class
- Focus class is for those handlers struggling to maintain attention, focus and engagement with their dogs. This class is designed to help the dog understand that the owner is in control of the reward and in order to acquire the reward, they must focus and respond to the owner’s commands.
- Focus class works differently than normal group obedience classes where all dogs work together. At times, the dogs may work together if reactivity is an issue or distractions are needed. But, this class is semi private, one on one with the instructor while the rest of the class observes, helps out where needed and learns from one another. Your dog must be able to wait in a crate or car, for their turn to work. The class works individually on your dog’s specific needs. This class is limited to a maximum of 4 dogs.
